Before the match, Gracia made two changes to the side that lost at Chelsea a week previous, with Patrick Bamford and Marc Roca returning to the side in place of Weston McKennie and Georginio Rutter, who both dropped to the bench.
The head coach was also boosted by the returns of Rodrigo and Luis Sinisterra, with the pair being named as substitutes.
Alexis Mac Allister broke the deadlock at Elland Road, nodding the Seagulls into the lead midway through the first half. However, Patrick Bamfords deflected effort from the edge of the box brought the Whites back into the game.
Jack Harrison scored an own goal in the second half but responded with a beauty to claim the point. Follow what Gracia has to say below.
More from Gracia and todays game will be on the website tonight.
Like lions, in terms of mentality we were fantastic. In the second half the Leeds fans understood the game was difficult. In that part we lost two points.
I think we lost two points. We played well against a live team. Im sorry for the result but the performance of my players Im really pleased.
He was clearly pleaed with his sides efforts today. A good point and he was happy with the way his side attacked.
I dont like to see the table. Today we got a point and the next game we try to get three.
I knew the result, but we didnt speak about it. What I could feel was they were focused on the game.
Im happy with all the players. They have to be ready to compete in every single game and thats the only way they can acheive their target. I would like to give more minutes to all of them.
In my opinion its very demanding. They do many different things. They create different options and different lines of passes. Its not easy to be well positioned to defend. It was an open game in the second half and there was chances for both teams.
Very pleased, they deserve the credit. They were twice behind, its not easy to follow the plan and wait for moments but they did many things well.
When you ae losing it is not easy. Pressing this way we were able to recover good balls and if we were more clinical maybe we could create good chances. I believe it was the best way. Pressing this way would have been high risk.
I know what happens when you press deep against this team. We prefer to wait for the right moment
To be honest, I tell you to have more players back is good for us. If we speak about today Im not happy with the way we attack. We need to improve. The quality of the players we have in the future will be better for us.
I think Jack is an example in many things. He wrks for the team. The quality he has is out of doubt.
Patrick was out last week but today he was avaIlable but not for all the game. We had to manage many players. On the other hand we are recovering players. In the next games we will be stronger.
If you asked me before the game I wanted three points but we have to value the point. Every point counts. We were twice behind.
To play this team is very demanding, when youre out position you have to know where to be, they are a very good team. Thats why my players deserve credit.
