FormerLeeds UnitedbossMarcelo Bielsais reportedly keen on a return to Premier League management next summer. The ex-Whites boss has been linked with a number of high-profile jobs since leaving Elland Road in February 2022.

Bournemouth and Everton were two of the Premier League sides keen on luring the Argentine back to England, butthe Sun claimsBielsa has told allies hes not keen on taking over in mid-season. The former Leeds boss met with the Toffees in London, but rejected their proposal, paving the way forSean Dychesarrival at Goodison Park.

Conflicting reports claim Bielsa had leftfield demands before taking the Everton job, wanting to spend the first six months of a three-and-a-half-year deal working with the Under-21s and the academy before stepping up to become first-team manager. A deal at Goodison was said to be in the region of 10.5million a year.

Nonetheless, Bielsa is said to be keen on a return to the top flight, having enjoyed four years with Leeds - winning the Championship and keeping them in the Premier League in their first year back.

The report claims the 67-year-old is very interested in working with a new squad where he has pre-season at his disposal, giving him time to implement his ideas. A number of clubs in South America and the Premier League are said to have contacted the Argentine, but a return to England where he prefers the honesty is the priority.

Bielsa, who has managed Espanyol, Athletic Bilbao, Marseille and Lille during his long career, would be happy to work with any club, at any level in the English top-flight, according to the report.
