Newcastle Uniteds hard work on the training pitch is paying off after another well-worked set piece routine provided the goods against Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon. The Magpies second goal was another work of art straight born at Darsley Park as Kieran Trippier, Miguel Almiron and Callum Wilson combined to double the home sides lead.

Speaking after the win, Wilson was asked about his England chances after notching a brace in front of Gareth Southgate at St James Park.

Wilson said: It was a great performance. In the second half we blew them away. We dont get carried away. We have to keep this form going. I have said many times I will not talk my way into the England squad. I will let my performances do the talking.
