Joe Willock returns to Newcastles starting side at Tottenham

JOE WILLOCK returns toNewcastle Uniteds starting side for this afternoons game at Tottenham.

The midfielder replaces Jacob Murphy in the only change to the side that started Wednesdays win over Everton.

That means Joelinton remains in the starting line-up despite the Brazilian suffering a knee injury that forced him off at the half-time interval against the Toffees.

It had been expected that Joelinton woukd sit out todays game, but he has been passed fit to start in North London.

His fellow Brazilian, Bruno Guimaraes, also features in Newcastles starting side, two days after he became a father for the first time.

Jonjo Shelvey is in the squad, but the midfielder remains on the bench, having been sidelined for around three months after undergoing hamstring surgery in the summer.

TOTTENHAM (3-5-2): Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Lenglet; Royal, Bentancur, Bissouma, Skipp, Sessegnon; Son, Kane.

Subs: Forster (gk), Doherty, Tanganga, Davies, Spence, Perisic, White, Gil, Moura.
